Delta always asks me for this info when returning to US via it's "FlyReady" process -- https://www.delta.com/us/en/travel-p...ontact-tracing
AA form looks to be here -- https://www.aa.com/contactus/forms/c...contacttracing
Info on requirement is available here - https://www.cdc.gov/port-health/lega...tact-info.html
On BA site, they refer to it as Advance Passenger Information instead of contact tracing.

I just flew with BA a month before and this wasnt asked. And when clicking on the form to submit it says we cant and says this

We are unable to retrieve your reservation with the information provided. Please verify your information and re-submit.

is this an error? Ive never had to do this and the form is not working.
American was still requiring it when I flew back from Europe a couple of months ago, and the form did not work for me, either. I believe on the day of my flight home I was finally able to access it using my laptop. I never did get it to work on my phone.

This link from AA also doesn't work.https://www.aa.com/contactus/forms/c...contacttracing

The form can't be completed. It asked for a name but there is no place to put a name?

Are they really not going to let us board if we don't completed...

I always have to do this when flying with AA and like you I use to have similar difficulties, but no more. But dont worry, you can provide the information at check-in. All this is, at least for US non-residents, contact info and place you are staying while in US. It asks for your phone contact, address of place staying and email addy. You can also put in emergency contact if you so choose.

Just did this a week ago. Web site form didnt work. App didnt work. In the end tech support had to key it in manually.

I had no idea if it could be done at check in. But didnt want to risk it.

I was told by a BA agent a few months ago that even if you fill out the form online, you need to provide all of the same information if you end up checking in at the airport.

Im looking forward to the day that this CDC requirement is scrapped.

.
That's a new one to me. I do have to fill this out every time I come back to the States, yes. And it's not easy to get the link to work. I think either the app or the email fails and I have to go to the other, etc. However, I always managed to do it and never once had to do it at the airport, including when I do have to check in at the airport. Wonder if it's another BA "efficiency" if they do that? I only go outbound with BA, but back via AA generally.

That is quite true, but often not the case. AA IT being the great decider. Sometimes the info that you submit beforehand sticks and sometimes it doesnt.

I've just completed the form via the email link. No confirmation email however, if I remember correctly, this is normal?

I would hope the current adminstration abolishes all of this. Probably just working their way through as they dismantle the CDC. I always fill it out with fake info anyway. Stupid requirements received stupid results.

For my trip to PUJ and back a couple of weeks ago, I went through all of the crap it told me was required, including to use the Verifly app (!). I thought that was long gone. When I got to the airport and showed it to the check-in desk (it would not allow OLCI) the woman looked at me like I was nuts. She said we don't do any of that anymore
