My counter showed up as soon as my first segment posted (about 30 min before my flight landed). 1 down, 29 to go

Just flew my first flight under new LP program. Segment counter ticked up one segment but nothing listed specifically on my activity log other than the details on Loyalty Points and Award Miles earned. Looks like it will be difficult to audit if you cant look back and see what segments were or were not captured on the counter.

Your paid segments show up normally in the activity log. From the previous posts my understanding is that award flights get the dummy 1 mile entry to credit the segment.

It should not be that difficult to audit since every segment gets a single entry. Just count them.

Yes. My point was with the prior system the entry showed EQM/EQS/EQD. Even though each segment posted individually.

Now there is no EQS showing blatantly in the activity log.

My segment counter is showing me one segment short of what I've actually flown.
I did not receive a credit for the second leg of a one way ticket. The first leg posted properly, earning me the 75,000 mile maximum for one ticket. The second leg posted as well, showing 0 reward miles, as expected. However I did not receive a segment credit for that leg. Does that sound legit or should I complain?

Sounds like a bug to me, assuming that it's an eligible segment.

With 30 segments already being so hard to hit, I would inquire. Every segment counts these days.

FWIW, I flew AA metal on a BA award ticket and had the BA FF # replaced with my AA. I know that BA award flights don't count as a segment but the flight appears in my AA activity with a ticket method of ineligible.

I'm mentioning this since it something to look for while reconciling segments.

Just an update:

I finally received a response from an executive liaison saying this was an error and that I have been credited with one additional segment. Regardless, it doesnt look like I will be able to hit 30 segments with Oneworld this year, so Im taking my $60-100K worth of business elsewhere.

From counting my segments it seems that flights on JetBlue (with AA number used) as well as award flights on AA both count toward the segments?

Counted multiple times but couldve missed something. Just hoping to confirm so I dont spread any misinformation!

Correct on both counts - paid segments on B6 count if credited to one's AAdvantage account. Award segments on flights marketed and operated by AA count if one's AAdvantage number is in the record.

I would have asked the executive liason if they are really going to deny customers who spend at your level the awards. It just seems so bizarre to me...
