LOL who are these FA's on the A321T's?

DFW-MEX: No PDB.

MEX-DFW. No PDB. One passenger got water upon request.

"I'd like to request some OJ...and toss some vodka in while you're at it!"

6/14 AA 1414 RDU-LGA A-319: Full PDB despite delayed inbound aircraft

PDBs were offered on yesterday's flight to IAH. There were three choices (like a TATL) of water, OJ or sparkling wine. Nuts were in a package not ramekin.

I'm waiting for 1474 to come here to IAH to take me back home. I will report.

ETA PDB's served again on the way back

DEN-CLT redeye
no PDB. Service after departure in plastic cups. They were ‘out’ of Woodford by the second row.

CLT-MCI yesterday Noon departure. PDBs offered, open bar. The FA started by saying "Would you like something to Drink. [Pause] OJ or water?" But by the second row of seats, a presumable flyertalker smartly cut him off at the pause and requested a Gin & Tonic. All further rows got what they wanted. I didn't notice if Row one got the limited selection or not (I was in the third row)

AA 2780 on 6/18. Pre-poured water handed to each pax from a tray in lieu of PDB. Have seen this approach a few times now; in my anecdotal experience it seems to be catching on among FAs not keen on offering PDB service. Ditto RDU-JFK 5/23 (I think AA 4755). Does it really spare the FAs that much work?

Yesterday DCA/BUF (PSA) flight is 1.5 hours late due to crew availability. Eventually boarding begins and I'm the first one down the jetbridge and when I arrive at the a/c the F FA lets me know they're still conducting safety procedures and paxs can't come on. Apologizes and ask if I'm in F, Y, asks me want I want to drink, Vodka Tonic, and hands to me as I board.

Bad news is we're at the gate for another hour after boarding due to weight and balance issues.

no idea. Currently on AA255 JFK - LAX In First. No PDB, not even a smile or greeting or anything. So disappointing from used to be. Laziness!

That's not laziness - it is rudeness and a total lack of professionalism, Like many - particularly at US carriers - I went back to work after 9/11 wishing that I were somewhere else. None of this was apparent to the passengers - the show had to go on. You are there for the passenger's safety and comfort. Period. We flew with many empty seats but we acted as normal as fundamentally we loved what we did.

I've gotten PDBs on nearly every flight recently. The lead FA in first class on yesterday's LGA-DCA noon flight was really excellent.

This is exactly what I do when I see the water/OJ setup… I just ignore that they seem
to be offering only those choices and request what I actually want. Not perfect, but definitely over 50% success rate getting what I request.

Same here. I always respond to the tray with, “Coke Zero, please.”
