5* agents will usually jump the queue with you at lax. AA doesn't have a strong relationship with the tsa at lax...so I doubt there is a separate flagship screening area.
At JFK they have a better rapport.

I went through the Flagship reception area Tuesday on 136 and while they were happy to see me in the reception they simply pointed me to the elevator to head to security. (I'm EXP and was on a J ticket using SWU to 1st.)
In an y case when I got out of the elevator there was a short line (5-6 people) but there was also an entrance (or what appeared to be an entrance) which I believed to be for me.........whoa...NOT FOR ME
In any case the TSA person looked at me like I stole something....told asked what I was up to, I told her that I had just come through the Flagship area and she said "Get in line with the others".....pretty embarrassing actually.
No biggie....only issue was that in that time a family with s babies, and all the resultant "Stuff" ended up in front of me and likely added 10 minutes to the one line process using the full body scan thing.....in any case I had 3 hours to kill for other reasons so I wasn't at all stressed and all was well in the end!
Cheers!

The entrance belongs in Dallas actually, iMHO. Red doors + carpet + faux glamour. A little over the top.
Should please the glamour seekers.

So it seems, some fine tuning is still in progress.

Used the new entrance today.
Entry allowed as I was on Z award ticket - Premium First Class on a Trans-Con.
I would have never found it (or looked for it) unless I had read about it on Flyertalk.
Lady outside with clipboard could not find my name in all her many papers.
Doorman was great just said he would show me in.
The check-in lady again started looking at all the paperwork and finally just went to the computer.
She put a red sticker on the boarding pass and pointed to the elevator and the doorman said no....he would escort us up. He was the best.....great uniform
too !
Easy security check-in......took a visit to the Flagship Lounge.....bad food
menu Board called it Light Lunch. Breakfast two weeks ago was worse.
But yes.....much better than a regular Admirals Club.
It will be a great service soon.

AA used to have a dedicated check-in line for EXP only (in the days before CK) at LAX.
I don't know why it was discontinued; however I have not seen it in a long time.
Does anyone know if the EXP only check-in line still exists at ORD?
Somewhat off topic I know - just curious.
