This is incorrect. the flight is a 772, which is a 3 class aircraft. There is no true First.
The upgrade from PE was to J. AA just sucks at marketing and IT and often uses flagship business, business, first interchangeably. They will have access to the FL as they are in J on a qualifying route.

Concept D Zodiacs def. not as private and narrow at the footwell/bench but maybe you will get Super Diamond. You can play it safe & avoid the rocking by selecting Row 1, 7 or 10. 10 will be forward facing if you prefer that.

They are thankful for the news.
Quite, but they share tribulations. It’s the narrowness that gets me, such that I prefer mid-cabin and being rocked gently to sleep rather than the bathroom traffic and screaming kid chances. |

You might rethink that mid cabin rocking seat choice if you have a 320 lb O-line man rocking you.....as I did once :)

As always, I must provide the usual disclaimer to pace yourself when it comes to lounges and ensure you don't overindulge or miss your flight (remember some of these lounges may require a bit of a hike to your gate).

Would be grateful for advice please on access. Flights are all on one ticket connecting on the same day
Flight Group 1 AA 2290 Miami to LAX in First followed by AA 73 LAX to SYD in Business. From what I can tell AA2290 is not a flagship flight but was wondering whether I still had flagship access in MIA and/or LAX given then it connects to an international flight. Similar Scenario for flight Group 2 AA 72 SYD to LAX in Business followed by AA 346 LAX to MIA For this flight Group was wondering whether I had flagship lounge access in LAX? Many thanks |

Sorry what is FFD? Thanks for your reply too.

Aside from Flagship First Dining, there's also the realization that international first class is quickly going the way of the dinosaur too. American is the only US carrier that offers that service and even then only on select international routes like Sydney. If you can afford a couple hundred bucks (provided that is how much an upgrade to international First class goes for these days), I'd suggest it, just so you can experience the difference (and yes there is a difference!). One of my biggest travel regrets was not spending my Avios on BA1/2 when it flew between London City in downtown London to New York's JFK airport an experience for which you can no longer have.
-RooFlyer88 The FA's in F have always been super great when I have done AA F. SYD too especially gets some super senior FA's who really care about their job. QF F access with a la carte dining as well as a massage would be accessible as well. |
Sorry one more question as we might look at push back flights a day as AA should allow us to do this as they made the change and transit time less than 24 hours.
If we did MGA to MIA on 25/5 (arrive Miami 17.05 and depart Miami 21.20 to LAX which arrives at 0.10am on 26/5 then same day connection to SYD on AA 73 which departs at 22.50, all on one ticket,, all in Business, would we get lounge access in Miami? As it is technically not a same day connection I am thinking not and we would only get it in LA??? Thanks again |
