Have the following menu for an upcoming Premium Economy flight:
Emmental Cheese Risotto Cakes
bulgur wheat, broccoli
Grilled Chicken Breast
Grana Padano sauce, orzo pasta, grilled vegetables
Has anyone had those risotto cakes? Am trying to figure what is that. Thanks.

Recent LHR-LAX business class.
Salmon app was hot smoked, somewhat dry
Nice veggie add-on to lettuce
Chanterelle Stuffed Guniea Hen: Bad, inedible
So so cheeses, slice of pureed quince was yummy!
Overall decent meal, except for the main dish, which was horrible. The stuffing was worse than a 99cents store close-out item, no sight/nor flavor of any "Chanterelle".

Flying D3 next week from AA27 - LAX-HND and things look good (Fingers Crossed, knocked on wood, salt tossed over shoulder and lucky rabbits foot in pocket) for 2 seats in business class. As a D3, I'll get meal listed by my sponsoring employee, but not get to pre-choose.
Does anyone have vision into what our meal options might be?
Thanks.

Didn't see much discussion of these options, so pretty much chose everything blindly...
AA125: DFW-HKG
Dinner
777 (3-class)
Business Class
Caesar Salad
Parmesan cheese, cruotons
your choice of roasted tomato Caesar dressing or spicy sesame vinaigrette
Duck Terrine
fennel, apple slaw, fig compote
The Asian dressing is tasty with a mild kick, though a bit weird combined with cheese and croutons.
Main Plates
Grilled Beef Filet
Zinfandel demi-glace, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, broccolini, red peppers
Thai Green Curry (selected)
chicken, steamed white rice
Lobster Ravioli
lobster cream sauce, sauteed spinach
Asiago-stuffed Gnocchi
arugula pesto, roasted tomatoes, burrata cheese
Antipasto Plate
prosciutto, pesto-marinated mozzarella, olives, pita
By process of elimination: the low-effort antipasto plate, the two pastas, and beef left the reliable curry. Simple and light curry, just a bit underseasoned and chicken is expectedly bland.
AA192: HKG-LAX
Dinner
777 (3-class)
Business Class
Seasonal Greens
your choice of Fuji apple vinaigrette or Chinese vinaigrette
Vegetable spring roll
green chili, honey dipping sauce
The "Chinese vinaigrette" was the same as the "spicy sesame vinaigrette." The spring rolls are just awful; the rice noodles were dry and brittle and no amount of herbs or sauce can make up for it.
Black Angus Beef Filet
red wine demi-glace, twice-baked potato, asparagus, roasted cherry tomato
Roast Duck
egg fried rice, sugar snap peas, carrots, plum sauce
Sauteed Salmon Filet
herb butter, lemon risotto, asparagus
Chickpea Masala
saffron basmati rice
Mezze Plate
hummus, baba ghanoush, feta cheese, olives, pita
Feels like this was another unimaginative AA menu that I selected by default, despite the duck complaints earlier in this thread. The problem is that good duck is outrageously easy to find in Hong Kong, and further I had the duck in the Cathay F lounge which was at least competent and well presented. This was Westernized with the vegetables and fried rice. The duck was overcooked and tough, lacking flavor. The fried rice might be the best thing on the plate, and I hate fried rice.

LHR-MIA lunch on friday April 6. This was the Tenderloin option. Not bad at all, in fact it was one of the better steaks I've had on a plane in a while, despite it being overcooked. Recommended.

Agreed- I had the tenderloin LHR-DFW the other day and while it only had the slightest tinge of pink, it was still tender and flavorful.

True Santa Fe style Enchiladas aren't like Mexican enchiladas just to let you know.Instead of being rolled baked in a baking pan, a true New Mexico enchilada plate is a stack of unrolled tortillas, each topped with a wonderful concoction of flavors and all that with a fried egg on top. I would still go with them and take a photo of what you get.
