Interesting, I see that now until the Price and Tax Information link. Seems shady to lump a tax into the fare, but now that I know, I can anticipate.

Thanks for the tip.

Actually, I think it probably has to do with how the fare is published on the GDS - most of the AA fares in ExpertFlyer also include the 7.5% tax. Certainly nothing shady for anyone other than those who care about BE points.

Business Extra Program (consolidated)

Quick question on the Birthday Promo...if I have 2 people traveling under one reservation and same Record Locator, and both fares were $250+ before taxes and fees, that counts as 2 qualifying flights or the purposes of this promo, right? I think so, just wanted to make sure...

Wish I had actually paid attention to BX prior to all my trips, did manage to sign up, but missed out on 10 trips to India this year...still have 3 more trips this year, but wondering , since the tickets have already been paid for , is that counts towards my $3000 spend,
any info would be greatly appreicated..

So now I'm back to "X,X25 points are scheduled to expire 12-31-2015."

When it flips the other way, many expire at the end of this year.

Hard to know if I need to redeem or not. Maybe they just extended everyone due to the mistakes?

I would imagine that is the case.....same reservation but two different travelers will count as two trips! cross fingers this is the case!

From the normal means, each passenger counts separately, no reason to think that this would be treated differently. Ive flown with my family of 4 on same PNR and they all break up separately in the breakdown.

You can only claim Business ExtrAA points for reservations that were made/paid for after your sign up date.

Not true. They can include flights retrospectively for the last 12 months.

Did it for me.

Wow. My BE accounts are all showing all points expiring in 2015
I wish they had done this a month ago, before I redeemed some points

Someone reported it, but it does seem contrary to what is documented online
Call and ask.
You chance of getting credit if you don't contact them is 0 percent

+1, just redeemed 4400 last week!:td:

Question re expiration

How exactly does point expiration work? I have ~3400 points scheduled to expire 12/31/2015. Let's say I earn 600 more points tomorrow. Do I now I have 4000 points that expire later? Or do the first 3400 still expire on 12/31/2015, and the "new" points expire at some later date? (I earned all of my points in one quarter...)
