4 months ago I booked an Aug 19th LAS-MIA on AA 1368.. At that time it was a 738, now I just discovered its a 763.
In fact 1368 rotates as a daily 763 MIA-LAS-MIA since July 5th.

That is correct. I took it in late June as a 737 (Project Oasis with the controversial MAX 8 interior actually). Are you in domestic first class? Nice upgrade to lie flats for that flight.

Yes we are. Anything over 3 hours "forces" me to ride up front.

777-300 (77W) flying LAX-DFW-LAX two days only 11/24-25/18. Looks like they are booking the Flagship First and Business cabins together as domestic first for this short flight, so free seat selection while they last.

FYI they seems to have been switching AA680/700 PHL-SFO and back from the A332 to a 767 on a consistent basis the last several days. Got swapped for both my flights. Definitely helps on the upgrades as the 767 is a smaller plane but folks who thought they had PE and don't clear are getting hosed. Be aware of your bookings.

Same issue that’s happening on the PHL-LAX flight that’s supposed to be on the A332. I read somewhere, can’t recall where, that they’re down an A332 at the moment. Hence the roulette on PHL-SFO/LAX.

What domestic routes are the 788 and 789 flying?

I can think of DFW-LAS, DFW-SFO, DFW-ORD, ORD-SFO, ORD-HNL, and I saw a ORD-MCO on FR24 which was a surprise.

I consider ORD-CUN domestic service wise but didn't list

AA 789's are only on DFW-LAX?

Lots of 777's on MIA-DFW, and all of DFW-Hawaii some days sending 5 planes a day. Granted these are not new, but its nice they keep them going.

Will DFW see some 330's? I think that is a long shot unless they schedule them on International routes at DFW.

Any news on DFW-ANC 788 rumor?

IIRC in one of the fairly recent investor calls Parker said some of the trunk to trunk domestic widebody service (a/c utilization) would be going away with rising fuel prices. Of course in recent weeks fuel prices have somewhat abated. Still seems as though there's plenty of domestic widebody service. I'm on a 772 from MIA to DFW today.

Sunday...booked on AA345 SFO-ORD in a 788, 5J. Equipment swap to an Oasis-reconfig 738. Just about the worst swap I can think of

Is there a timeframe in which AA typically adds these to the schedule? For instance, if I’m looking at flights out into August, surely AA hasn’t allocated their domestic widebody routes as of yet.

It depends, some of their more regular routes like MIA-LAX or MIA-DFW are definitely loaded out until August. In my observation the more irregular or one-off services don't get locked in until around 60 days out or so.

I’ve got a SFO/DFW flight on a 788 coming on in 2 weekd Please no, particularly if my upgrade doesn’t clear.

Not sure if it's been reported here yet, but I'm seeing a 767 on PHL-LAS daily through June 5.

Also, another PHL-SFO upgauge, with the 767 on the early flight out of PHL. Operates April 7 to May 2. This is in addition to the A332 already on the mid afternoon flight.
