If they allow an open jaw then PHX-LGA/BOS-PHX would be fine. You'd have to get from LGA to BOS on your own but the two long-haul segments could be booked in the same reservation.

Yes, PHX-BOS/ARNK/NYC-PHX would be doable on HPUS. It just seems to be not as good as other carriers.

This trip is doable on Delta in one award. Of course, DL charges for date/time changes and 25K awards are very hard to get. I think UA and AA also do not require stopovers to be at hub cities. So, this will also be doable on AA who has NYC-BOS services.

I guess no one is perfect :-)
