I'm hedging on the fact that there might be an agreement announced at some point before then, we'll see.
If they don't, just sign up for a BA account. I picked one up last year, so all my domestic AA flights go to that now. Plus, now that I have status on BA I get to access all the AA lounges domestically, so it's better than an AA account.

I forgot to take a picture, but I did forward the comments on to Alaska. Bags took 30 minutes as well, and on boarding they held us all in a Jetway for 15 minutes as the aircraft wasn't ready. Overall not a great trip this time.

It happens and the more you fly the more likely it does happen.

Agreed on that statement. Also cranky from lack of sleep and loads of travel the last 3 days. Last year my problems with Alaska seemed minimal. This year just seems to be escalating. Its either a great trip or the whole thing has issues. As a Delta convert its been interesting.

I'm always super happy when my bags are late so I get the 2500 miles. haha

But sometimes you just want to get going so I understand your frustration.

I'm currently at 8/9 claims for bags being late so far this year. Last year I think I got to claim it twice.

I think I've claimed the 2,500 miles 4 times this year... a first for me.

You guys bring up something I've been meaning to ask (I've searched and can't find confirmation). Is the 20-minute guarantee for your bag(s) specifically, or just when the belt starts moving? I can't remember a time that bags didn't start coming out within 20 minutes, but I've definitely had to wait longer than 20 minutes to get my own and wasn't sure if that qualified or not.

Since 2010 we have put a guarantee behind our baggage delivery. If your bags are not at baggage claim within 20 minutes of your plane’s arrival at the gate, we’ll offer you a $25 discount code for use on a future Alaska Airlines flight, or 2

It says "your bags" on their website. I'd take them up on it.
