I booked an identical award a few months ago: DEL-NRT-ORD on JL with a stop in NRT, booked with AS miles. So they do offer it. In this case what confuses me is that different websites are giving different results for availability: AS and AA say NO; BA and QF say YES. Some partners.
AA does not show JAL awards online. Did you call AA to check? BA, AA, QF, are all OneWorld partners so I would think they should have the same availability. AS is an independent partner so their availability may be different (but I doubt it). It could be a POS issue if non-AS partners disagree.

The awards are available at BA, QF and AA (by phone). That leaves only AS; even their phone agent didn't see it and didn't know what could be going on. Could be some OneWorld and non-OneWorld difference, or just AS specific, there is no way for us to know. I still want the stopover, so will keep checking AS.

After sitting on an incomplete award for nearly a year, finally I was able to add domestic leg on JFK-NRT-CTS in April

Hello.
I am looking at SGN to Singapore via JAL and stopover in Tokyo for a few days.
I have availability on single flights between sgn to tokyo and tokyo to Singapore for the dates in dec. And sgn to tokyo to Singapore on nost days in Dec.
However, if my Tokyo to Singapore leg falls after 24th Dec, then the whole SGN-HND-SIN shows zero availability but available every single other day before.
But SGN/HND/SIN is available separately on the specific days.
Check with BA showed excellent availability.is this a search engine glitch? Or just not releasing? Should i call a alaskan helpdesk?

NRT-SIN from Dec 30th. HND-SIN from Jan 1st.
don’t use tyo to search. Use NRT, you can see NRT-SIN on Dec 30th.
edit: can use TYO, too
