Sorry - I inadvertently omitted that they were testing boarding and de-planning from both doors on Alaska's 737's. I don't think this will have any effect whatsoever on QX ops, and that they will continue with dual-door boarding/deplaning.

Right, but I read the 5 year timeline as being for the whole N terminal revamp during which they presumably need to alleviate impact to the various flights going on there. I agree that work to redo the BR has had enough time to have concluded.

Since we're into October, is it time to ask the AS Twitter team for an update?

Here is the other "JOKE". AS will open their new, permanent Bored Room in '18. 3018 based on the pace so far with the POS

I am suggesting a new reality TV show to the networks, "Boardroom Impossible". If follows the exploits of Alaska Airlines and the Port of Seatle as they attempt to build a temporary boardroom. Right now I expect it to run five seasons.

Very clever!

It will be interesting to see if the Twitter social care team is correct in saying the temporary N Boardroom will open "this month."

The black and white sketch looks kind of cool. We'll have to see how it actually looks once it's completed.

I think the delay is caused by their inability to find a substance strong enough to lock down the cheese at times when soup is being served in the new Board Room (since these two items are NOT allowed to be served at the same time). Time and normal protocols mean something unique when the Board Room is involved. Example: they will continue to serve clam chowder as the Friday soup until the world ends.
