Hi I transferred two lots of SPG points, one on Tuesday 1/2 (60k), that posted to my Mileage Plan account on Wednesday 1/3.
I transferred a second lot of SPG points on Wednesday 1/3 (20k) however that has not posted yet, 3 days later. The points have been deducted from my SPG account though.
Has anyone found that there is a delay like this with one points transfer and not the other?
I tried ringing AS call centre but the reservations agent didn't know what I was talking about, didn't know what SPG points are!! Hopefully those points surface soon in my Mileage plan account. I was expecting both to transfer in about the same time frame.
BTW does anyone know is there a limit on how many points you can transfer in like this?
Does someone know the phone number to ring if the points don't appear?
Thanks

SPG is rapidly becoming a dead program due to the conversion to Marriott, no? Are you saying your points were brought over from SPG Monday and were never converted into a Marriott account? That's probably the biggest difference: you're doing this post-program merger...

Marriott->Alaska =! SPG->Alaska. Delays do not seem to be unusual.

60,000 MR should transfer to 25,000 Mileage Plan.

6000 should be 2000. You have an extra zero.

My transfer at the end of August (after the merge) took about 5 days.

You are absolutely correct. Just saw the 6 and a few zeroes and immediately thought 60K. That is where the comma comes in handy.
