yeah, DL jumped on the Sounders bandwagon big time last year ("The Delta Starting Eleven" amongst other things) ... our season seats are right by an entrance to the Delta 360 Club at CenturyLink

DL is adding lie-flats to SFO/BOS. This will make DL the nicest SFO/BOS product, and BOS/SFO (Westbound) is the longest domestic flight that we have. I'm sure this is a shot at AS flying the route soon enough.

UA is the big Kahuna on SFO-BOS with about 5 daily. I doubt this is targeted at AS/VX

I do. DL could have announced a cushier product from the outset. B6 has already had Mint on the route. UA has mostly if not all crappy F seats. VX most likely has the highest average fare up front.

BUT it's still DL who has a long history of cancelling flights rapidly if they don't work. Let alone it is Delta folks.

All one has to do is compare DL's award charts to AS charts

Some people view their airline of choice as a White Knight who will chase away the evil surge of the other airline.

And others have come to view elite status/perks as part of their identity.

When in reality it's a means to get where you're going. Neither good or bad.
Go with whoever works better for you.

Not saying the previous poster is like that, but many people are about their chosen airline not just AS.

I would love to see a SEA-WAS flight with more convenient departure times happen soon.

Love my hometown airline, but would love a earlier than 7 pm departure too.

or a middle of the day one.. or more options for a morning departure.

From the NW not sure if the market is there for more flights but with Virgin there is a huge increase in east coast flights.

I am a loyal AS flyer and it's been hard sometimes but now their flying more to east coast cities I am happier and yes I have to modify my own schedule a little. but that's ok. I think DL is saturating the market seeing what sticks and what doesn't. They have operated this way for years. Having moved here from DC I am an old DL flyer, but prefer AS. For a high mileage flyer my "return on investment" is much greater on AS. Let alone I am within a year of a mm. after 12 years of steady flying'

Does this mean we will see a HUMONGOUS price war on BOS-SEA?
