PDX Lounge Wait List for Atmos CC Passes (From 10/18/2025)

If I heard the lounge desk agent correctly this morning, starting tomorrow there will be a waitlist for people using lounge passes at the C lounge in PDX. Hopefully this will help congestion a bit?

Is there a general priority list for entry during times of overcrowding? i.e.
  1. Lounge Members
  2. F/J Pax on Qualifying Flights
  3. Day Pass Users
Or is it all first-come, first-served regardless of means of entry?

Welcome to the new reality of the smaller Lounges struggling to accommodate the flood of Summit lounge passes.

They need to do something--the crowding at the PDX Lounge is out of control, particularly in the morning. I've never seen it this bad--the patio section use to be virtually empty.

The new lounge can't come soon enough. Since PDX is my home airport, this lounge is the one I use most and the crowding makes me question renewing membership.

I was thinking the same thing--it's beyond crowding--there is literally no place to sit other than the floor sometimes which they let people do, but I don't pay that much to eat my breakfast on the floor.

Its a little hike but it makes the new Escape Lounge more valuable.

Hopefully it's better than the one AS contracts out to Lounge + members in PHX---that had to be one of the worst lounges I've been to on the planet.

Would the Express Lounge be something to consider?

Honestly I haven't been to that one in awhile partly because the hours are so limited--I think they close at 12:30pm....it's worth a try if you're ok with mostly cold food.

The waitlist is real. 05:30 today there was a confused gaggle of folks staring at the sign in a loose arc around the door. Im glad I stepped in front of someone after a moment to scan the barcode to get on the waitlist. Heres what the scan brings up:

Thank goodness Id seen this thread so I read carefully & noticed Lounge+ Members are supposed to bypass the line and speak to the desk. I walked right in, and Lounge felt far less packed!

I just wanted a real coffee before boarding a 7am flight. Membership now feels FAR more valuable if this policy remains.

I adore the staff in the express lounge but the lack of espresso machine (& toilets!) makes it not my first choice in the AM.

I am excited for an expanded, updated lounge space, but as a person with mobility limitations, Ill terribly miss the days when my gate is directly adjacent to one lounge or the other so I can linger as long as possible in that welcoming space.
