how did you get them, how do you check if you have them? Why when I call him and ask them to apply them they said you only get them in March or something like that or maybe you dont even get them on the match. You actually received some?!?

I received an email with certificate numbers 3 days after status match. You can apply them online or by calling CS. So it you did not get the certificates, I would call CS to have them applied to your account.

I received a Congratulations! email from HA this morning. I did the status match in December. The two upgrade certificates are listed, but erased from the pic.

I think most of us AS elites matched to HA status are looking for upgrade codes like GGUs to show up somewhere in our HA account but I'm not seeing them anywhere--the HA website seems to indicate that the only way to know if you have upgrade certificates (and how many) is to call although a previous poster mentioned that they did this and there were no upgrades showing up in their account. It's worth noting that the website specifically says that all upgrades expire on the last day of February but it's a book by date not fly by date. I assume another set of upgrades shows up on March 1st but that's total speculation and dependent on whether or not AS decides to make changes to these upgrade certificates. If anyone who did the auto status match is actually able to successfully apply HA upgrade certificates, I'd love to hear about it.

This is good news...I didn't think the upgrades from HA would be actual codes. Is there somewhere on the HA website where you can go to find the codes or do you just have to wait to receive them via email?

I don't see anything in the APP or on the website regarding the upgrade codes. The two codes are the same with a .01 & .02 appended. The format is EC#####CS.01 & .02.

I have no intention of flying HA until they are folded into one loyalty program with full AS benefits. I had an HNL-PHX flight booked that was operating on the 787, but canceled it a few days before the flight in favour of 3 AS flights confirmed in F with a single GGU.

At what price? For SAN-OGG trip in May, morning outbound afternoon return is now on HA, afternoon outbound and redeye return on AS. Not worth losing the first day of the visit, redeye recovery IMHO. Refused to pay the extra $$ for Y+, will roll the dice on last-minute upgrade space.

I'm genuinely curious about this as well...maybe you can test them out for us? It sounds like you won't know until 24 prior to departure. Some of us (like me) are still waiting for our upgrade code emails from HA. They must be going out in batches.

Hawaiian UG Certs

I've never flown Hawiian Air...never booked with them...

I think that I only got this email because of my Alaska Airlines status.

Even the UG I got from AA (one way) I was able to clear upon booking the reservation.
