Pretty crazy to see Grabaseat advertising AKL-JFK for $579 Oneway. But then AKL-SIN for $800 Oneway, really showing the market demand for the US at the moment.

AKL-SIN must be a money promoting route for NZ/SQ currently.

Demand for both ORD and JFK isn't primarily from NZers - it's from Americans coming to NZ.

It's like PVG being dirt cheap (particularly in BP) ex NZ because the demand is mostly from Chinese tour companies.

Cash Y/A/J fare to PVG and then 1600APD partner reward to Zurich on J Swiss is a cheap way to get to Europe if people are interested. Good availability on that route.
BKK to LHR is plentiful as well. Cash fare to MEL, partner reward to BKK > LHR is only 2300 APD.

+1, going via PVG to Europe instead of SIN will save you hundreds if not thousands.. plus it's usually a v4 instead of a 77

Even non *A flights to Europe from PVG are very reasonably priced. Weve just flown with Finnair and was very cheap, although a bit longer due to avoiding Russia / Ukraine etc
