I wouldn't complain too loudly. Air NZ might notice that they give you more SPs for a flight you don't pay for, than we provincial folks get for a flight we do pay for 😀

I honestly think the revenue management team is just incompetent.

Lots of newbies in the revenue management area. Many engineering science grads end up there.

Sorry was not keen to open a new thread and couldnt find any recent threads relevant to Skycouch costs.
for Skycouch are you essentially paying for the 1-2 seats at a similar rate to a passenger rate??
I just saw sale fares to Bali for approx $600 o/w and Skycouch was offered for around $1200 for a solo or $600 for 2 pax

NZ reminding me today why I dislike dealing with them.
Booked AKL-YVR-AKL-TUO Business Class last week for my mother, booked on NZ's website.
Went to cancel it today as she wants to change dates and with the sale, net savings are ~$1,000. Ended up doing a credit voucher for $0 fee
Cannot cancel online, cancel button is inop.
Called in, 1 hour 10 min wait time.
Oscar is useless until a human arrives

Air NZ always have their New Years sale a week or so after January 1st just FYI. I have been tracking this for awhile, I always take advantage of it to book trips, it's the most consistent sale of the year. The other sales, you never know when they'll happen, but this one is extremely consistent.

Bit bummed - Looks like Air NZ made a mistake and loaded both A and J class to Sydney for the Schold Holidays in early July last night / morning when I checked at 1am, but come 9am, all have been removed. It made an easy trip as it was only $50 more then economy. I see lots of online travel agents are still showing this price, but I don't want to cancel my flight due to the double status points.
