What's in the antipodes bottle and paper package??

I flew Akl perth and we didn't have those but got the antipodes lip balm and facial moisturiser. The toothbrush is flimsier than the previous. I like the bag though. As usual I can't resist and always steal the whole thing.

It's not really worth having an amenity kit on such a short flight though? I'm sure people don't brush their teeth every 4 hrs normally during the day so you don't really need toothbrushes and moisturiser etc.

Flew brisbane back to Akl last yr and was just over 2 hrs duration!! Crazy probably not the norm but still really cool we could do that.

FYI:

New PS Amenity Kits will start to be pushed out to the network mid November

The BP kit is designed to fit an IPad and is made of recyclable materials

Antipodes skincare has been selected as the new skincare product for the amenity kits
as it is a successful New Zealand brand, New Zealand made and sourced with
sustainable and certified organic ingredients

The skincare fragrances are gender neutral so appeals to males and females and
are rich and ultra hydrating making them ideal for dry inflight environment

The skincare packaging is currently being produced specifically for Air New Zealand
using eco friendly materials

As we transition from our existing product, there will be two interim Antipodes products in the BP kit until mid-January, after which the bespoke packaging will become available to us

Up until mid-January, the PE kit will have no skincare included while we wait for the bespoke packaging to arrive.

Skincare in Premium Economy: (from mid Jan onwards)
1 x Pawpaw and Avocado oil
lip balm

5Interim skincare items in BusinessPremier Kits (until approx. mid-January)
1 x Hosanna face plumping serum (dropper bottle, 10ml)
1 x Jubilation hand and body cream (sachet, 5ml)

Ongoing skincare in Business Premier: (from mid-January onwards)
1 x Vanilla pod hydrating day cream, tube 5ml
1 x Pawpaw and Avocado oil lip balm, tube 4ml

I noticed Koru in Wellington now has Antipodes hand cleaner in the bathrooms. While Antipodes is a great brand I much preferred the old sensor foam dispensers.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I was just surprised as I thought Air NZ did give them out on TT.

You're not going to be able to sleep anyway even with your eye mask since they don't carry bedding or mattresses on short haul any longer.

Good to see the sachets are going!
They really were messy and not user friendly.

Now if Air NZ can organise to have BP amenity kits on every flight with BP......

Why? SQ don't offer amenity kits in J on any flights (that I am aware of).

Probably (as I see further down-thread), although I'm sure that 'feature' will be enhanced away eventually. I'm taming cable-snakes with mine - which is handy in it self - I gave my iPad away a while ago

From a visual appearance basis it looks and feels silly - a big bag with barely anything in it.

New amenity packs.

Overall an improvement. Dark charcoal similar material to current but a bit thicker with purple leather corners to match the mood lightning on the long-haul planes. Zipper instead of fold over

The main step back would be the moisturiser now comes in a paper/plastic sleeve like a condiment packet - looks cheap, but otherwise new colour socks and face mask patterns - two packs I got had different colours - but didn't seem a big selection.

They have been made bigger and are now the exact dimensions of an iPad and will be very useful as a sleeve for one and that's probably the intention.

Are these kits given out for each sector?
So for a trip to Heathrow from Auckland you would get two ?
One from Auckland to LAX
and another from LAX to Heathrow?

The BP Felt Amenity Kit bags are quite useful compared with the PE plastic ones!

They don't offer amenity kits but have everything like toothbrushes etc available in the toilets in draws. I quite like the little lip balms that nz does but I don't think SQ supplies those in the toilet area but I didn't exactly look hard.

I remember getting amenity kits for PER-AKL on the 787 when the route first started.

Do they offer them for MEL/SYD-AKL on the 777? 787?

Nope, East Coast AU flights don't get amenity kits. It must be 6+ hours or somewhere around that flight time.
