The submit screen very clearly says you need to have the APD in your account 7 days before travel.

Clearly using a credit card would be your best option if you don't have the APD

Happily the points only took a day to transfer across, so all sorted. You can request the upgrade well in advance without having the AirPoints in your account, but as you state, they will certainly have to be there at the 7 days out mark. Thanks for the reply.

Just made an offer YVR to AKL, PE to BP, $630 each.

I had a look and the cabin is super full, so the odds of it being accepted are virtually zero at this point I think.

Plane very full, so not too surprised.

Duh!

Was hoping for the standby at the gate ex AKL offer, but didn't happen, possibly since PNR is ex SYD. Plus plane so full of course.

apologies in advance if answered above, however couldn't find an answer using the search...

Can we combine a RU upgrade for 1x pax with a oneup bid for the other pax on the same booking??

Just on TT, but I need to burn a RU and i'm looking to test out the PE spaceseat TT prior to deciding on it long haul....

Will asking the premium team with ultimate powers of persuasion help at all?

cheers

Yes, if you go online into the booking you can choose how you upgrade each of you.

If you have difficulties, phone the premium team.

Just keep in mind - if you're booked on a 77W with the space seats, I would have thought your RU would take you up to business rather than The Works, so you wouldn't be sitting in PE anyway?

This ended up being accepted, no idea why as there haven't been any Business class seats available on the flight in weeks, but hey, I'm not complaining.
