Is she as sexual in real life as on pictures? At least she flies commercial. Wait until she becomes prime minister.

I saw Lagerfeld on the A380 a few months ago. Flying first, he forbid that anyone use the forward stairs because the noise was disturbing. And they complied. I would have suffocated him with the socks from the amenity kit.

Two years ago, I was stuck at a toll booth queue on the A10 coming back from a nice week-end. Then on the line on my left, there was a nice sedan driven by... Michele Alliot-Marie !

I was very surprised as she was driving, her boyfriend/husband on the passenger's seat and her two bodyguards in the back of the car.

It feels quite good to see politicians acting like that and not bling-bling...

Today on KL1576 ATH-AMS my biggest celeb yet: Vice president Al Gore!

While waiting for the bus to Board we were asked to stand back, and he passed with two of his baboons (Secret service?). I was the first to enter the plane (737-700) and he was seated in 2A, the bodyguards in the rows next and behind him. The whole flight he stayed in this cocoon, not really letting people near him.

Upon landing at AMS he was escorted to a waiting BMW, skipping all layers of security at the gate (passport control).

Must be quite a downgrade.. From flying your private B747 (Airforce one!) to KLM Europe Select on the B737 :-P

I thought that AirForce One is a call sign only used when the President is on board ? And I very much doubt that the VP (who is to take over as President if he is incapacitated) ever flies in the same aircraft as the President.

Still, pretty big fish for a commercial flight!

You are probably right, what use does a 'backup president' have if they fly on the same plane and something were to happen to that plane..

Guess it would be Airforce two then. Physically though they are probably the same kind of plane I assume

I always thought they have 2 Jumbo's and a 757 for short hops?

Yep they do. But both the 747's fly together where ever he goes so no one knows what aircraft he is in. Not sure about the 757 as he uses the 747 for domestic trips too.

They can use any plane as AF X is just the callsign. VP has a 737 and a 757 at his disposal, 757 can travel l/h. But sometimes the pres. makes use of the 757 domestically if the runway is too short for the 747. VP sometimes travels with the 747.

In the above case he was most likely on a personal holiday?

He was giving a speech in Athens on global warming and alternative energy sources. One of those $250-a-minute kind of deals i assume. This guy has pretty much become billionaire with the alternative energy market.

I don't think this would have been any kind of holiday for him. During the whole trip he was seated by himself, not shared a word with anybody...not even his bodyguards. He didnt look very...happy, lol.

I think he is doing a great job at creating awareness for Global Warming.

Shouldn't he then be taking the train instead of flying?

I can't stand the double moral and "hot air" he keeps extruding... He's a swindler but it's accepted as he's talking about the climate. He has no clue what he's talking about, but money talks so he's golden...

Erm, yes! I takes around 38 hours and you have to change 4 times, but it sets an example doesn't it?
