CDG-BEY : no offers at OLCI at H-24, but nice offers at H-15 from Y (N fare) to W or J (1st time I see the 2 offers in parallel) : €199 to W and €399 to J. At H-4, I saw that I was kindly oped-up to W (thank you AF :) ), and the J offer was still proposed, but cheaper at €319 (1st time also I see this). No more proposals from H-2.

And for the return BEY-CDG, again 2 offers in parallel from Y (U fare) to W (EUR 199) and J (EUR 359). While at the lounge, I saw that I was again bumped to W :) and that the J op-up was now proposed at EUR 279 and I decided to buy it :)

SFO-CDG: offer at OLCI from Y (V Fare) to W for 449 € (or 74800 miles !!!) and J for 679 € (97000 miles). did not take it for now, waiting to see if there is a better offer at lounge. My parents on a L fare got exactly the same offer ( no status with FB).

not bad (in cash).

AF293 (HND-CDG). Upgrade offered at check-in (the check-in agent showed me the chart briefly)

Y-->J was 549€, or 135€+57500 miles, or 77000 miles.

I almost took the cash + miles option, but ultimately didn't jump because there were no window seats available and I'm getting claustrophic on long flights.

There was also Y-->W, around 70€+~30000 miles. Again, no window seats available.

I also glimpsed that J-->P was 23x000 miles, or 16xx€+5x000 miles

Indeed, they were! One thing though - I was flying with Mrs ok986, and the check-in agent was extremely reluctant to use my miles to upgrade her. Ms ok986 flies does not fly on SkyTeam too often and had only a few thousands miles in her account, and the agent was quite adamant that she pays up the full upgrade fee [although the agent said that if we 'insist' on using my miles to upgrade both of us, she could call the station manager to authorize the operation].

On a different note - when the group of 4 flying in P arrived, all check-in operations stopped, all agents went over to bow to the group, help them with their luggage, with the station manager leading the small-talk with their leader while others were politely standing by. This took about 5 minutes, but was super-strange, because suddenly everyone paid attention to these folks...

I've never had an issue with this. I've even upgraded my parents once as a surprise on DoD with my miles at the airport desk (Schiphol) and I wasn't even flying myself.

Same here, I keep spending miles for friends & family, especially on DoD upgrades - never ever had any issue.

CDG-EDI 289 :eek: for Saturday evening. No mileage option given, but I don't have many miles so that might be why.

2 rows J only, wide open.

Why would someone go to JFK in Y for 25000 miles one way when you can go to DUS in J for 24800 :D
That means they value the € at 250 miles, it's getting ridiculous. FB "buys" their miles back between 32 and 63 times (depending on your status) the rate at which they sold them.

2 days before my flight BOG-CDG got an upgrade offer 889 Euro from premium economy (A) to business. They are absolutely crazy. And expertflyer shows that the flight is oversold in premium economy. So who can understand this? They have to give opups and offering such crazy prices.https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...049225e23f.jpg
