NUE-CDG afternoon flight. I was surprised of the poached egg.

of course the egg was cold. however from German frequent flyer forums - everyone makes fun of the food that is served by Lufthansa on its European routes. Almost everyone hates the food served by Lufthansa.

For sure , LH J food is not always the best you can find on EU flights , but at least you get served a hot meal on longer EU distance trips, what AF does not provide any more even for flights of 4h30 duration .

On my last LH trip CDG-FRA I had some almost inedible stuff from "Leipzig". The same crap was served two weeks later on FRA-CDG - maybe bad luck.

Early morning flight MAD-CDG. Viennoiseries and bread were offered separately.

Again cold I guess... I think AF went from one of the best in Europe to the worse airline now... I can't think of any other airline that doesn't serve hot meals in Business Class and that's down to them not properly sizing ovens on the A220. They need to face a barrage of complaints.

CDG-IST Monday scheduled 9.15 was I think a bagel with salmon slices on, didn't partake for this as already eaten in the lounge. Also a basket of chocolate shortbread and "2 Rochers Praline" was given out. Overall a good service from the crew, they disappeared for the last hour or so of the flight, but till then they were regularly checking on the cabin.

Having flown FCO-AMS on KL - their catering gets only points in package design. Not sure whether I should open a KLM catering photo thread in the KL subforum
Their couscous salad was plenty but absolutely not to my taste - the falafel were a joke and the passion fruit looked and smelled like a Dr. Oetker instant powder mousse that I would not even touch in a coach class menu 🤪
At least now I can understand why many are moaning over AF/KL catering 😂
