Yeah, I would happily accept the Pouilly-Fuissé and the Nuits-Saint-Georges, but that's the only thing appealing from that list IMHO.

Oh absolutely, it is.

But your pictures only show the first part of the path. After that door one arrives in the zoo that is the actual security checkpoint with a huge crowd pushing and shoving and arguing and people cutting lines and fighting for trays and putting their trays on top of each other and not knowing what to put on the belt and your bag potentially ending up as the 27th in the secondary-screen belt and… The way to that hell is pleasant, but you still have to go through it.

You’re absolutely right !
I guess this is done on purpose to get a bit of taste of the 2E zoo experience, so that you realize the privilege of being an AF P PAX 😂

It’s never been up to the level of CDG, but pre COVID it was better than it is now, unfortunately.

I fondly remember generous portions of foie gras in the JFK Premiere room.... and was disappointed when I saw the menu that they know have after Covid.

What a fun, wonderful evening last night as three of us (me and two sons) were in P on the late SFO-CDG flight... AF 85.

Sadly, the almond soup was inedible. Way too salty to enjoy.

But everything else was good...

We must have enjoyed ourselves as I woke up an hour from Paris with no idea how I got into my pajamas and how my bed was made.

Amazing PA Celine met us and drove us to the LPL in a Mercedes van. Today's wine list. Sadly, cost cutting abounds here with a $30 Chablis replacing the fabulous Meursault which many of us have enjoyed,

Our LPL meal was wonderful and the three of us downed a bottle of the Rothschild Rosé and two bottles of the Chablis during our enjoyable 5 hour visit prior to our flight to EDI.

And amazingly, on my 5th try I was able to score a new baggage tag.

Thank you SFO777 for this good review .
Interesting to notice that I got almost the same LP dinner this week from LAX. I believe it’s the same provider for SFO and LAX.

The lounge AF contracts with at LHR, Aspire in terminal 3, is very underwhelming. Overcrowded and quite dirty. I stayed for less than 5 min before going out into the terminal to sit. I did get the escort from ticketing to the lounge.

Clients travelling To/From “long haul - to long haul” in CDG

I don't know if it is well known
From AFKL BIZ:

Correspondence offer the Palaces T-PAR:
The Palaces T-PAR la Première service concerns La Première clients travelling To/From “long haul - to long haul” with a long correspondence at CDG and consists in offering a maximum of one night accommodation in a selection of 5 Stars hotels situated in Paris such as the Park Hyatt-Vendôme, Mandarin or the Bristol with a transfer to and from CDG in luxury vehicles.

This service valorizing the attractiveness of Paris, is offered to clients only with an authorization by local sales managers. The communication needs to target clients and agencies that would be potentially attracted by this direct flights and other points of connections alternative.

I wish for those of you flying soon that champagne in the lounge will be changed too.

EDIT: I am flying LP on my birthday, does anybody know if I buy some decent bottle in duty free, will I be able to enjoy it in the lounge, if they still serve Moet?

good to hear that although it is still a few months away from my visit. The selection on the ground drives me crazy especially when you consider you are in champagne heaven. Good old covid days with Krug (and to go too...)
