I did a thorough calculation about a year ago and now I have it in my Instagram account, updating the number whenever I visit something new. It's become a bit of a gimmick.
There are about 1500 airport lounges in the world so I have passed 25% now.

I did it once long-haul to long-haul and was of course OK. Never did long-haul to short-haul but normally it should be OK too, providing of course you are in J on both flights (unless no J proposed on the short-haul) and no F on long-haul.

Yes, I believe so. I booked this, arriving long-haul and connecting to "short haul" CDG-TLV, and since I've got a 10hr. layover, will go into Paris for lunch with friends. I was told, when asking if there were any problems doing this, that there were none. Just check back in at Gate 14(T2E) for escort to the F lounge.

Ah oui, c'est dommage re dejeuner. However, I set up the lunch rendez-vous in Paris before I knew I could purchase the F CDG ground package. And it's with a friend I haven't seen in nearly 15 years. Do you think the lounge would give me a "doggie bag." 
Actually, for Ducasse en Paris, I would prefer his Hotel Le Meurice restaurant. But it's closed Sunday. This is more nostalgic than anything else. My late wife stayed with a family, in 1965, a block away on the rue de Pyramides, while studying at the Sorbonne. So, this is the 50th anniversary of my first visit to Paris. Back then, my aunt gave me $50 to take her to a nice restaurant and, so, we went to Le Tour d'Argent. At the end of that wonderful experience, believe it or not, I had $5 left over!
Finally, I booked the F ground package mainly for the limo(hopefully!) transfer, because my second wife(we were married in Paris, btw) is currently somewhat mobility impaired, and for the massage/spa treatments. Then we should be in good shape for lunch!

I'm in the La Premiere lounge right now. As good as always.
I can strongly recommend a visit during Christmas as they have a special three courses Christmas menu with a selected wine for each dish on top of the regular menu. It's really exquisite, delicious, even better than the regular food.

Another fun thing about this is that obviously they timed the departure from the lounge so I would be one of the last passengers to board. This meant that all FAs in the business cabin noticed my arrival and the fact that I was escorted by a man from the La Première team.
They obviously thought I was actually travelling on a proper first class ticket and took really good care of me. They made sure I was one of the first passengers to get a pre-departure drink, I was obviously on top of the list for the main course order and in the morning they came to ask if I had slept well. The purser even came to apologise about not being able to offer arrivals assistance in Cape Town, but she promised she would ask the ground staff anyway to see if they could speed up the process through immigration in some way.
A terrific flight! Really nice!

Pithiviers... nice! in December 2010, I flew AF F twice from Paris and during my first visit, I asked if they could prepare some special Christmas menu for the second visit as I would come with my parents right after Christmas. We tried out this Pithiviers and a couple of other dishes before they were officially released on the menu to other guests, very good souvenir Good that they have seasonal menu nowadays, too bad I haven't had the chance to visit this lounge again around Christmas time.

Otherwise, it's as though an Italian menu boasted "pennette" and the French translation was "pates" or a British menu mentioned "seabass" and the French translation was just an anonymous "poisson").
