For those who know this lounge, you know that is is chronically overcrowded and too small in the afternoon/evening with the 2 AF flights (including one A380) and the KL flight. From end October for approx 3-4 months, the lounge will be closed for renovation and extension to the lower level under the current lounge.
In the mean time, the P pax will likely use the VS lounge (to be confirmed). But for J pax, they don’t have any solution at the moment as all other lounges already operate at max capacity. So it is likely that they will give some vouchers to be used in the concourse cafes/restaurant. Certainly not ideal, but I don’t really see what else they can do.

It looks like AF passengers flying AF J will get to use the EY lounge during the period of closure for the AF lounge.

Paid access for AF lounges

AF has increased the price for paid access for AF lounges in CDG 2E K/L/M : from 45 to 50 EUR, as of today (17 OCT 2018). I thought it could be good to summarize the paid access prices for AF-branded lounges worldwide. Please see below. I have also added this in the wiki.
Please don't ask me about consistency between prices in cash and in miles between the different lounges ;)

FRANCE
- CDG 2C (arrival lounge) : 50 EUR between 5 :30 am and 10 am. 35 EUR from 10 am

Is this price for any passenger or only Y passenger with FB Silver / ST Elite status?
I wonder how to adapt the wiki template in order to include this price information, as I might forget about it on my very next review.
Also, should we highlight the fact that a given lounge includes a reserved area for some customers, i.e. Ultimate? :)

Any passenger non-eligible for free access : Y/W pax without Elite+ status, 2nd guest of a Gold/Plat member, etc

I have already added this in the wiki (after the lounge list)

I'm thinking about this for a while : creating a wiki in the Ultimate thread to list the Ulti benefits per station. ;)

Has the AF lounge been permanently closed at IAH? If so where do AF Business Class passengers go for lounge access?

RabbitIYH Oct 21, 2018 5:16 am

Charging 25 euros for accessing the "lounge" at LYS is criminal :D

I don’t think it’s closed. Why do you say that ?

Zarmakuizz Oct 22, 2018 4:06 am

Oops, didn't see it was about IAH and not IAD.

A google search for the Air France salon lounge at IAH pulls up the comment “permanently closed”!

Skyteam app/site still shows both AF and KL lounges in IAH, so I guess they are still there. Do we have any regular IAH flyers here ?

Can anyone confirm the closing time and the presence or absence of showers at the Air France-KLM lounge at SFO? The AF site says it closes at 8:30 pm, while PP says it closes at 11:15 pm; the AF site doesn't mention showers, while I read a review that said "the showers are nice." Thanks.

no personal experience (last time I was there was several years ago), but I looked at another source : Skyteam lounge finder. It shows closing at 23:30 and doesn’t mention showers.

BOD : AF lounge (more info here). AF seems also to sometimes use another lounge for pax going to other destinations than Paris.
Goldorak, were you there on a BOD->PAR flight by any chance?
I might do a BOD->LYS flight in a few months, on dinner time, so it would be a nice occasion to either check the food options at the AF lounge, or find out about that mysterious bonus lounge.
