So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

And I hope not! I'm glad they are keeping the prices high, or my upgrades won't go through! It's bad enough that I can't confirm the upgrade until the gate on most of my flights.

YYZ - SFO T+ Fare $399 offered at T-21

Declined

Still lots of seats left in economy and lots of seats left in executive. Surprised the price is not lower.

I bought my ticket from UA for travel on AC. Don't think it would be possible, but has anyone ever been offered LMU on such a ticket? I'll be traveling from BCN to YYZ. Thanks.

Flights from BCN to YYZ do not offer an Executive First cabin or AVOD entertaining (they still have overhead video)

It was 349 CAD YYZ-YYC... I clicked on accept and typed in CC, pressed OK, but closed window because I wasn't interested.

Now we're in J.

Is there another screen after your CC info?

Please advise what to do!!! (Have never done LMU, and don't want to spend 349 * 2!!!)

HELP!!

Ummmh, you entered your CC info and clicked OK. What did you think would happen? You might be able to call AC and try to undo it, but I'm not sure if they are under any obligation to do so.

Got the Day liner today from YYZ to LHR, piece of cake. I think AC is the best. The meals were terrific and so was the service.

Usually there's a screen with the total cost with taxes... And then you click purchase.

Can you please also post the LMU price and the original fare you were on? I believe YYZ-LHR is rarely reported on this thread so it's good to have a new data point.
