So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

I've been watching this route for the last bit, often PE is less than 2 seats a few weeks out and J is often pretty busy too. I'm not surprised at higher priced LMU's between CDG and YUL.

It was R1 5 days out so I could have bitten. This plane will be sold out I think. Loads of students making the trek. Was just posting for factual value more than anything. As I've said many times before, it could be $100 I wouldn't bite. Don't mind paying extra for a bit of comfort, but only at point of sale which is what I did with this booking.

YYZ-LAX on Friday, LMU price was something like $500 (wish I'd paid closer attention, but my passing thought was "I could have it free for 10 eUps if I wanted, but it's a day flight and I don't need a meal, I'm just going to nap", and I could nap in row 12 as easily as row 4 -- on an Airbus.) That's a lower LMU than usual on 5 hour flight, right?
Rookie mistake: the fact that my seat was K not F should have clued me in that it was a widebody not the 320 or 321 or whatever it is, but I don't recall seeing two aisles on the seat map. In a pod, the nap would have been so much better. Pined for the pod the whole way.
