At least in the press release it was claimed it was to bring it more in-line with other US carriers. One of the first responses was along the lines of "uh oh, UA just became DL".

I also remember how UA "assured" a certain someone that no decreses in their FF were envisioned......that was two weeks ago.

To refresh your memory, last january you threatened me of talking to your lawyers, after asking your husband to save some posts on the familly hard drive because you felt I was attacking your reputation and that you would revisit the issue upon your return to Canada.
