[QUOTE=Simon]Over, and over, and over again. Instead of posting all the same old UA stuff, why not just provide a link to one of your myriad of previous postings on the exact same topic?

Can you on this thread point any post that I posted about UA.
On & On you keep bring up UA.
You point out my inability to Quote properly, and you add comments about UA.

In the past few months, I have posted about UA when asked. Do a search.

On this particular thread, no.

In general, yes.

And again, rather than big long heavy posts about UA/MP, when asked, you could just as easily have posted a link to one of your previous posts on the exact same topic.

Anyway, I'm now contributing heavily to the noise ratio, so I'm not going to respond further. But please stop posting about your war all over the place.

I happen to enjoy the various comparisons of other programs and airlines with AC/AP, if we didn't compare, criticize and highlight AC/AP with others then it would be a pretty one dimensional forum. Many of you self-appointed "thread police" regularly contribute to threads that have absolutely nothing to do with AC or AP (like hockey stuff and the likes) and no one complains about that......

I think there's probably a lot of people (like me), who doesn't spend every waking minute searching through every aviation forum on earth and appreciates the odd discussion on program comparisons from people who have done the research or who have the personal experience.

Everyone has a right to contribute without being harangued (except maybe in jest). So far what I've often seen here is very un-Canadian nastiness.
Thanks YYZFlyboy for speaking out. Agree with your argument. ^

Don't gloat too soon - I'm sure AE is watching.

I haven't looked at it in detail, but is this just beinging UA in ot line with the *A chart or are they doing an AC and charging more miles than per the * chart?

At least in the press release it was claimed it was to bring it more in-line with other US carriers. One of the first responses was along the lines of "uh oh, UA just became DL".

Take a good look at the thread.....they have increased some sectors by a wide margin....also made a new shorthaul , but decreased the allowed mileage from 750 to 700 miles (ruling out many popular sectors.) Increased charges for all except 1K and UGS (good for those people not for the bulk of the MP population).Instituted new fees for booking late rewards....other stuff too. It's funny Lev, even though we hate Parnel making digs about stuff, you have to hand it to him he was spot on this time!

As Simon correctly notes, the noise ratio is getting too long.
I hope our high posts non-evangelist is happy.

They are looking for the silver lining on why it makes sense now to continue traveling through the US to go anywhere when AC goes to the same places from Canada and from next year with new aircraft and completely refurbished older ones.

I also remember how UA "assured" a certain someone that no decreses in their FF were envisioned......that was two weeks ago.

Sayonara to this thread. Let it RIP like the Mpale Laffs

I responded to Parnel when appropriate. Do a search, you're quite good in research, aren't you?

If a poster feels he's attacked by anybody on this board, that's his privilege to respond. When you feel you're attacked, you respond. Let the others take care of themselve. Don't use other's discussions to build yourselve a crusade against a member of this board

Correct me if I am wrong.

Is it not the spirit of this board for posters to express their opinions without having to be subjected to offensive & rude replies by one particular poster?
You just proved my point about you trying to defend everybody against one particular poster

To refresh your memory, last january you threatened me of talking to your lawyers, after asking your husband to save some posts on the familly hard drive because you felt I was attacking your reputation and that you would revisit the issue upon your return to Canada. You must have been back more than once since then and so far I haven't see any letters yet. Care to comment?
