If that's true then I'll pass on taking SQ across the Pacific. I took severaliner Asia flights on SQ over the last two years in both F and J and saw nothing that impressive.
Each flight I was on was configred fro shorter haul flying.
I have flown SQ J & F within Asia, the product IMHO is not that much different from the product say SFO-HKG.
The equipment in most part the same. Some of the equipment continues on to NA.

Have you considered getting status on OneWorld as well as * Alliance?
If you travel a lot to Asia, the cities and routes you frequent the most will dictate which airline makes the most sense to get status on. For instance, if your base is HKG then you'll really want Cathay status (even Silver @ 30K status miles gives you lounge access). If you travel to MNL the *Alliance is pretty useless as you need to take crazy routes to get there and still earn status miles. If your base is BKK or SIN then *Alliance makes sense.
BTW -- I find Air Canada just as good as CX, SQ and TG crossing the Pacific when travelling in J.

Advise take time to map out your PPS sectors. You will be handsomely rewarded.
I spent weeks researching the PPS program.

You have posted this negative opinon of SQ International product several times on this forum. No other poster including myself has responded or replied to your post(s) about SQ product on this or other forums , in a rude & offensive language.
It is unfortunate, you have not extended the same courtesy to those of us who dare to express negative opinion of AC product.
Many of these posters have been subjected to your rude offensive replies; most of the said posters are not UA apologist. They are members of AC/AE FFP.

If I cannot, I may have to bite the bullet & go to ICN to pickup SQ to YVR.
I guess getting closer to lifetime PPS wins over taking a non stop flight
KIX- LAX/YVR/SFO

Nothing.
Maybe I should clarify my posting .
I was just comparing and pointing out the negative postings by Parnel about SQ's Product and the way it was received on this AC forum to when negative opinions of AC product are posted by the members of this FT Board who in most cases are not UA apologists but AC: SE,E,P only these posters are subjected to rude offensive responses from Parnel.
I have edited.
