Listen guys, it's one thing to debate about Aeroplan issues & it's also ok to never agree with each other. No personal attacks please.

Yeah! What he said.

Can't speak to the rest, but I was referring to Empress.

I've been following this thread and come to the realization that KH and whyfly would like personalized SE service.
Most of my flying and fares purchased make AE a perfect place to park my loyalty. I have never yet missed getting an U/G. The aerolotto now being tried by AC has already seen them change many flts back to having C available. KH goes on and on about all his *****es with AC but continues to pour most of his employer's money into the carrier so they must be doing something right or he would be ripping his Company off. Whyfly is a bottom feeder who gets his status mostly by doing cheap mileage runs. I'm not sure what pecking order that puts him in. |
haha...
In the end, you can't really fault Aeroplan on creating a system that is semi-revenue based. I am just happy this is not the CO Board. |

Not sure? The last few flights have been 1 hr flights so I never bother. [LGA and YUL] Next week I go to Montreal so I will call, and see about upgrade. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |

They are not there to process upgrades on ineligible tickets. If the flight is oversold they might look after you, but I think to call ahead and ask for this would be inappropriate.
