Where: On your computing device. Anything with a Zoom client. https://zoom.us/download - You probably want "Zoom Client for Meetings" or "Zoom Mobile Apps".

When: Saturday August 9 2025 @ 1700 PDT / 2000 EDT / 2130 NDT - We will likely go quite late, typically ending after 0100 PDT.

The link will be the same every week. We don't need a list, many people will be here. Just add your name if you want the link PM'd to you around 1630 PDT before the do.

Suggestion: Please include your forum handle (and optionally your name) when logging onto Zoom.

Please send me the same link as last week:

Maybe the organizer will allow you to turn off your video and just type instead of talking . It works in a pinch.

Must be great to be going home, though!

Hope you are all having a great NYE. Maybe we can have a NYE-DO on Saturday - 1st FT Do of the new decade .

Happy New Year all!
I think expert7700 was being very generous in his kind words. It indeed has generated some queries from curious FTers who have read the recent posts in this thread, but I assure you it is not some masses-appealing, Gates/Musk-style Unicorn.

Had to hype it up a bit, how else will I be able to justify collecting a small 20% fee from all the investors yyznomad hasn't asked for help but who are now lining up?

While this is technically a correct statement, I want to make it clear that the calf is asleep in the main bedroom, the bovine is asleep in the living room, and I am in the furthest removed space so that I may remain on the do without disturbing the sleeping herd.

I am sitting on a toilet. The lid is down. I am wearing all my clothes.

So you say. Others will need to see for themselves.

This sounds like something the Codfather would do. Especially the claim of clothedness.

Maybe he fell in. We should ask his boss to send a rescue party.

Or the door hardware broke and he's locked in. Quick, call the Concierge!

Unfortunately, the concierges were busy tending to more urgently unimportant things.
