Where: On your computing device. Anything with a Zoom client. https://zoom.us/download - You probably want "Zoom Client for Meetings" or "Zoom Mobile Apps".
When: Saturday August 9 2025 @ 1700 PDT / 2000 EDT / 2130 NDT - We will likely go quite late, typically ending after 0100 PDT.
The link will be the same every week. We don't need a list, many people will be here. Just add your name if you want the link PM'd to you around 1630 PDT before the do.
Suggestion: Please include your forum handle (and optionally your name) when logging onto Zoom.
Please send me the same link as last week:

I never cared to learn the syntax of any specific language other than C, as most courses I took in university used C. I used Python for a few projects but I have now forgot, or rather, never tried to remember, how to write a for loop in Python, or find the length of an array/list, or any of the string functions.
Python is great for some lightweight projects and ML/data, and I think its probably the best beginner language for non CS people, as it doesnt have a steep learning curve and hide many internal complexities pretty well, so one can build something useful quickly, but it would be a disaster for large scale distributed system, or any realtime high performance system used by HFTs.

Dude! That was the only language I ever bailed on - way too academic for me and the keyboard contortions required to generate all of those weird characters was a pain.

I wouldn't mind jumping on the virtual do for the first time after landing and checking in, at YVR tonight approx 20:00 PDT.
Assuming you will accept a loley 50K, would it be possible to get zoom deet's?
I promise I won't bring up Python/C++/Rust, I deal with them enough daily, like to keep my weekends nerd free if possible. 😃
