In this thread I enjoy more about guessing and watching others guess who those celebrities are, than the actual spotting. So far everyone I know are politicians. Maybe I am getting too political and I should watch some TV shows

Seated next to Tasha Smith on YYZ-LAX a couple of weeks back. Had no idea who she was, but her name was in big letters on a script she was reading and I looked it up afterward. Very personable and down to earth. Said she was had been in Toronto working on a movie.

Pam Anderson LAX-YVR
Sat With Pamela Anderson on Saturday from LAX-YVR. Saw her in the lounge first, and couldn't quite tell if it was her. At boarding she was in my seat (3F) and I was too polite to give her the boot from the window seat, and happily settled in the aisle.
She slept most of the flight and was really polite to the cabin crew and me. We didn't talk much but near the end of the flight she was worried about misconnecting which sparked a conversation. Told her I was her biggest fan back in the 90's (I had a poster of her in my bedroom when I was a kid and still convinced I liked girls...), and she was kind enough to sign my boarding pass. When we landed she was met at the bridge and whisked away by an AC employee.

I was too shy to ask also. I suspect she wouldn't have appreciated it after a flight (I sure wouldn't want to be asked for a selfie after a day of travel). May have snapped a couple sneaky pics though...

Daryl from Letterkenny is on my flight right now. I wonder if he's on his way to a super soft New Year's celebration.

Just flew back with John Baird YOW YYZ. We were in J, of course. My impression was that he is intelligent, well spoken, and respectful. Very different than how he is portrayed on Rick Mercer, but that is to be expected.

Having met him on a number of occasions in his MP days, I can agree with his intelligence. Being respectful is not a trait for which he is well known.

Jan. 16/18 AC854 YVR-LHR.
Leaving the North Korea summit in YVR. All in J.
Anders Samuelson with at least one companion.
Boris Johnson + handlers. Escorted through LHR by two police officers.
This is the only group picture of the summit attendees that I can find.
There was at least one other notable person on board with three handlers.
One in J, two in Y. I don't think he's in the group photo above.
Another woman was met in LHR. She was "important" enough that she was met by a male handler carried her purse.

Canadian defense minister Harjit Singh Sajja.
He was one of the first 12 off the plane, so I'll assume he was in J.
Same flight, deplaning near the end, what appeared to be a prisoner transfer.
Flight gets to the gate, two security guards, one proudly displaying handcuffs get on the plane.
Three security guards and a fourth individual get off the plane. They step aside.
The fourth individual is cuffed and they all leave the area.
