Apparently....but there are whole bunch of people that have been frantically e-upgrading flights for later this using their 2014 e-ups. Could be quite the shock for some if the same is happening to them....ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE GIFTED e-ups.

Told them if they don't fix it by X date I have $22,050 in 2 RT's to book across the ocean that will go to other carries. Gave them 2 weeks and didn't even get a response.

Tomorrow is next year by AE standards so you are SOOL.
Today Feb 28 was last day to burn your old E-ups. I had a strategy which paid off but I am left with 2 which go into the waste basket unfortunately. I am sitting at 55k for the new year which is a great leg up for the future.
With less and less SE's to compete with, this is giving me more reason to stick with AC although I dislike the new program.

Because if you upgrade before March 1, you are charged the NUMBER per the 2014 terms. It takes eUps that won't be expired at flight time, but the amount is the old (lower) amount.

This has always been the case.
I was replying to a post about booking Aeroplan tickets, not eUpgrading, so tomorrow is better for me (no YQ)

I could totally use those for several Latitude bookings TPAC and TATL mid-year... will have officially drained my entire eUp account before the end of this month with a spate of post-February 28 bookings at the 2014 redemption rates!
Your PM is full - if you can UG those mid year flights with eups that are
expiring Feb 28, then I would consider that a good use...

I have yet to upgrade a bunch of TATL Lat bookings mid-2015 that if I get the P buckets now, would be at least 60 eUps (will be more once I get more Lat passes) worth of flights at the 2014 redemption rate, if that's what you mean.
IluvSQ has added me as his last nominee for the rest of the benefit year.
Running tally is actually 74eUps over a pile of mostly Y TATL flights.

To be clear, my OP did not care about which eUps I was using (in fact, all of mine are 2016 expiring eUps)... my OP's point was that I wanted to apply my eUps against the existing pre-devaluation requirements... so my TATLs up to June are only using 6 eUps instead of 11eUps, for example.

I found out, to the eUp gifter's horror as well as my own horror, that any upgrades I wanted to be processed as a Nominee came out of the generous Nominator's 2015 (expiring 2016) eUps... only one booking pre-Feb 28 came out of the Nominator's 2014 eUps... he only found out after the fact and didn't want to retract the flights he had upgraded for me...
BUT, the point of my (this) thread was not about which bucket of eUps my upgrades came from... it was about using up as many eUps as I could at the current lower rate, pre-devaluation doubling.

No, you're right. I forgot to post all of my experiences here on FT.
