The current dog epidemic in the skies is getting way out of hand. Service dogs, fine.
But none of the dogs I've seen on recent flights have been anything close to service dogs.
And airlines seem unwilling or incapable of stopping it.

Well, it could have been that "emotional support pig" from December 1st:

++++++++! and insane photo.

On my YUL-YYZ in Nov, guy in 3D refused to put his dog in carrier, despite being repeatedly told to by the FA. Dog barked all the way to Toronto (yes, I know there's a joke in there somewhere)

Of course, for sheer entertainment, it was the DL LGA-SRQ, where woman had dog with fancy rhinestone collar and walked it down the aisle to the lav. Then woman put dog on seat. FA comes along and says "Ma'am, you can't put your dog on the seat. The seats are for people. Here's a blanket."

Not sure why the agents didn't have her removed from the lounge?

I'm a dog lover and owner, but I'm cognisant of the fact that not everyone else is.
