2 paid and 1 redemption.

I don't think SD's know if you are on a paid ticket vs redemption (and frankly don't think they really care).

We do not. Equal treatment for all! Meal priority still extended as per SOP.

AC 62 ICN-YYZ February 2018

Ah yes, bubbles and warm nuts and IFE map

I did not eat the appetizer but took this photo instead

Adorable little roll and it had a nice taste, sort of like egg bread

Presentation was very nice , fish had a really nice taste, but food was COLD.

Nothing worse than cold fish, cold potatoes and cold beans that were all supposed to be served warm if not hot.

Also, despite the close-up, the piece of fish was tiny

Love this photo

Love the Asian pear

Cake. On a plane. LOL

Cake porn alert. lol. Kind of sexy.

And for the second meal pre-arrival

Actually I loved that it was peach and not the usual strawberry, blueberry, vanilla flavours that seem to appear on all other AC flights I'm on.

This sad little croissant was quite the disappointment. It was hard, dry and lacking in any taste. Considering the pastry and croissant offerings on AC ex-NRT, HKG and TPE have been generally very good.....oh well

Unlike AC fruit ex-YYZ and ex-YVR, these were ripe and tasty.

Excellent and spicy. Yum.

More spicy. More yum.

And flying with a friend is the best part.....

AleEat, gabdusch and longtimeflyin like this.

I need to stop reading this thread, even if it is my favourite. I find it somewhat cruel because in the past year, I have been on the two routes profiled above and my food hasn't looked anything like these fantastic photos.

Aw, thanks. Well, there's food....and then there's food porn. They don't look the same and they don't taste the same.

I am going to write to CBC. I think 24left has been touching up the food porn photos because my photos dont look the same and neither does the food. Only the Kitkats look the same

Sometimes they seem to be substituted by Lindt dark choc bars.

Noticed on the menu it has Smoked Snowfish. What exactly is a snowfish. Perhaps appropriate for an airline based in Canada, just never heard of it. How does it taste?

As an aside, reading it what first popped into my mind was what a right wing fish calls a left leaning fish.

It has an unusual texture but it’s actually quite nice. Harissa chicken was very edible as well.

Must have been a typo for swordfish, surely?

What was the fish called on the French menu?

possible I guess but was not swordfish and they serve snow fish in Korea which is a white tuna/black cod/sablefish depending on info source. Actual species beyond me but not a fish I am familiar with.
