My 2002 qualifying miles went up by 1000 miles yesterday (from 500 to 1500) - did anyone else get 1000 more Q points added to their account ?. the 2002 qualifying segments is still 1 (the only flight I've taken this year is YYZ-LGA).

Same thing happened to me, but it's the second time! I'm up 2K Q's, but they didn't count as segments. The Jan 13 statements are not online yet so I couldn't check it that way. On the phone, when I ask for a list of transactions, when it gets to that transaction it transfers me to an agent. One time I waited to get an agent and she had no idea what it was. She said something about trips to the US but she didn't really know and I couldn't figure it out. Now I'm afraid to call and ask because I don't want them to "fix" it!!!

I think AC's computers display some coded message beside the point posting so an agent can usually say what type of transaction it is but not necc. which partner. Also, I was told they cannot look at an actual statement like we can on-line. Talk about stone age technology.

They've updated the status on the phone and on-line, but it doesn't seem like they'll treat you that way.
I'm trying to take advantage of an award sale- 40K instead of 60K to Europe. It's available only to P's and E's (and I would asssume SE's). My wife, mother and brother all were basic last year and are "now" either P or E according to the AC website. When I called they wouldn't allow me to get the deal, and when I attempted on-line booking (which happened to work very nicely!) it quoted 60K
The sad thing is that I was P last year and I'm "now" E, but I just cleared out my account last week on a ticket for another relative , just before the deal was available (Jan 14th)! So it's available to me, but I don't have the miles.
