I was the only SE on the one AC flight per day, so I had the TPE SE check-in line and concierge all to myself. That's personalized service! |

I flew to Taipei a few weeks ago. The concierge was very nice and she walked with me onto the plane.

For the record, everyone in J is entitled to concierge service at the airport.

Everyone in J, or everyone who paid to be in J? Do eUps and opUps just get concierge and lounge access?
As far as I know, any revenue passenger confirmed in the J cabin is eligible for concierge assistance. Though I would suspect there aren't many non-SEs upgrading on international flights. |
I have an BUD-FRA-YYZ-YQB itinerary coming up with BUD-FRA on LH in Y and FRA-YYZ on AC in J. My connection in FRA is doable but tight (1hr). As a non-SE, can I somehow solicit the help of the FRA concierge to help me make my connection?

What would you expect them to do in this situation?

To be honest, I am not sure given that I never had the privilege of interacting with one of them so I don't know what they can do. In this case, I was wondering if they could escort me through an expedited process to clear immigration and get me on my way quicker than using the normal lanes. Otherwise, I would hope for proactive help in rebooking in my inbound flight is delayed. Something along those lines.
In a large AC station, you might be able to get a golf cart, but even that would be hit or miss. If you miss the flight, head to the MLL for rebooking (or to pick up your new BP if you've been rebooked already). |

I can't speak for FRA, but in CPH, they walked with me through immigration, but they were unable to expedite it at all. Same with security.

My first ever experience with two AC concierge agents at TPE. As I approached the counter they asked me if I was Mr Acfly. There are 3 Concierge stationed in TPE. One escorted me to security and another one escorted past security to the lounge in TPE.
It wasn’t particularly useful as I could have walked through myself, and it wasn’t as if they granted priority immigration. |

Concierge in NRT tonight (don't have her name) introduced herself at the gate and offered to move me to a seat in PY that didn't have a occupied seat next to it. I Thought it was a great gesture and one I didn't ask for. It's the little things...
