FlyerTalk Forums Expert How-Tos and Guides
Last edit by: Adam Smith
This is a master thread to post any lounge meet up requests / invite requests forum members might have. It'd be great if you could post your lounge guesting/request in the same format as below...
A reminder - those offering guesting are quite happy to be guested to a superior lounge!

If you have the ability to make changes to the WIKI, please do so yourself rather than replying to the thread! If you are asking to be guested, please only add to the wiki - do not post in the thread.

OFFER REQUEST MEET (i.e. will be there but can't guest) dd-MMM-yyyy / hh:mm / XXX / Terminal Lounge / FlyerTalkName
Please note the date format so as to avoid confusion

Please do not write OFFER/MEET; if you are able to guest someone in, it is implied you can also meet them without guesting them in.

I'll be in YYC for a good chunk of the afternoon. 1pm-7pm? I may duck out and chat with the concierges for a bit. Anyone passing through?

Here in the YOW MLL today for 4 hours (meetings done early). Just by the window, sunglasses on top of my head, my carry on sporting a Flyertalk baggage tag. Cheers!

Cheers.

You got that right.

Plus, the FRA MLL staff are awesome. Even when they take BS from some pax, they remain awesome.

The LHR contract staff are pretty good, but the LHR AC staff are a bit blandish.

Oh wait - we aren't allowed to complain about or compare the LHR MLL to other lounges because the high horse bow-to-thee-almighty-self-righteous posters here will give us rolleyes-face and call us out for being 1%-ish.

At Heathrow on the 20th June I did a tour of the 4 lounges, starting with Lufthansa Senator, Singapore, United, AC.

Ranking all 4 is difficult because they each have their pros and cons.

Singapore had the best food. Lufthansa was next. United had the most space and the abundance of plug sockets in both UK and US forms is great and a decent array of food if offered too.

There's nothing wrong with the MLL in London; it's perfectly serviceable in its own right, but of the 4 lounges at Heathrow, objectively speaking it is the least good.

In future, I'd start at Singapore and head to United after eating if I can't find a charging spot. That being said, the Singapore lounge wasn't exactly busy when I was there so depending when you go that might not be a problem.
