Pretty quick here. Upgraded to Gold December 11th 2012, card arrived other side of the world in New Zealand January 17th 2013. Just over a month so not bad compared to others.

Glad to see December run cards starting to arrive places. Hoping to have mine here in USA sooner than later. Account shows Card Upgrade on Nov 26, so I'm anticipating getting it soon.

I have some more data points (for US welcome kit delivery):
Card upgrade (to Gold) on December 18th with card (and one luggage tag with a metal tie) delivered to US address on January 22nd.
Cards upgraded (to Silver) on November 5th with cards (but no luggage tags any more in the welcome kits) delivered to US address on January 22nd.

Flew on December 24, got card upgrade december 31 and the (blue) card just arrived today in Greece

Forgot to report my Gold card arrived last week (on the 24th I think) in DC, USA after showing as upgraded on November 30.
Did those of you with January "card upgrade" status get cards with 12/2016 expirations? Mine was still 12/2015, as expected. If I had had more january travel scheduled, I might have tried to hold out, but it wasn't meant to be.
How dare they only offer me 3 years of gold status?!?
