So while I wait for the LeClubAccorHotels IT departmenet to to finally let me access to my new LeClub account I just couldn't resist doing this:

Had a flex booking with 8K points.
Cancelled it, 8K back no problem.
(Tried to) rebook prepaid with 6K points.
Right after confirming payment: "There was a technical error"
No booking, no confirmation email.
Yet, my 6K points are gone.
I suspect my CC might have been charged as well (a pre-enrolled AMEX).
Will check tomorrow.

UPDATE
Points recredited today, booking works this time but, somehow, had to log out/log in to get Accor Plus rates displayed.
They had vanished.

I’ve had an issue before where Amex vanishes as an option during the booking process for certain properties .... it always seems to come back eventually. I’ve put it down to yet another bug in their ever so trusty system...

I have been unable to access the Private Sales from the Accor Australia page for about 2 weeks - Just get the message "We'll be back soon" Did get it to show the properties with the promotion for about 1hr 5 days ago but then went back to the above message.

everything is working perfect
also AMEX is no problem with booking /paying in holland , france or marokko
a small issue is a badge in places
so far i know i am entitled for it
received a polite email from CC that they work on it

Site only displays Ibis Business Card Rates, except I don't have the card
Hello fellow travellers,
My Accor Rewards 12000 points recently expired, and I was sent a targeted offer : stay once in less than a month and get your reward points back.
Easy, right ?
I thought I'd book an Ibis Styles or something, since i am traveling in Madrid anyway.
But when trying to book, my account always shows the ibis business card discounted rates . The problem is i never had that card. So I'm stuck with either rates i should not benefit from (no card to justify it if asked at the front desk), or promotional rates that probably won't be compatible with the "get your reward points back"
So far, customer service, Facebook, Twitter, etc. have all given different answers, non accurate answers... or no answer at all on any of those points.
Has someone else experienced that ? Only getting special rates without the premium cards ?
Anyway, ready to lose some 200 euros or so equivalent of points with the poor customer service. I'll know better next time (or no next time with Accor, that'd be a better solution)
