Are theses 2019 platinum SNU ?
and should I get 2 more SNU when I renew platinum (next week !)

I have 5 suite night awards in my account, expiring Dec 31, 2020, and just over 26,000 points earned in 2019, which suggest those points are from what I stayed in 2019 (2 SNAs at Platinum qualification, then 1 more at 18k, 22k, 26k.

If you're not yet at Platinum for 2020, it sounds more like they're just giving it to you anyway.

Based on how the terms are written (and it may well be written differently in different languages, which we have seen from Accor), I would expect to receive 2 more SNAs expiring Dec 31, 2021 in Feb 2020, when I complete a stay for 14k points, and then several more scattered throughout the year after every 4k points earned, each deposited throughout 2020 but valid until the end of 2021.

Just used two of my five SNUs. It was very easy when contacting hotel directly. Great service at Raffles Warsaw!

Goldorak Dec 4, 2019 6:49 am

I have 4 SNUs in the App (and close to 24k status points in 2019 so far).

matmatlr Dec 4, 2019 9:07 am

7 SNU so far and probably 1 more before end of 2019

Will end up with around 40 000 status points so Diamond reached from far
I doubt about the invitation only status...

Confused

I just updated the app and I'm very confused.

During this year I had easily over 150 room upgrades. Now they say I have 10 suite upgrades. Does that mean they'll stop upgrading me due to my status and only upgrade the room when I ask them and use these coupons?

are you living in this (Accor) world or another (Accor) planet ? 😃

it would be interesting to understand better what kind of upgrade have you got and what kind of property they were

I had the same feeling as well ;)

In my case, I am a regular in some hotels and I generally stay in each one around 3 to 4 weeks per year.
Which means that they know me well and being Plat for many years, I get upgraded most the time.

For ex, I am always upgraded in Suites in Sofitel Montreal, in Pullman Sao Paulo... even though I am booking luxury rooms.

I hope I will still get the same upgrade ratio without using them.
To me, my SNU will only be useful for WE with my wife :)

Yeah, I have turned into a nomad since Jul 2018. Since I am platinum I got upgrades almost 100% of the times. Novotel/Mercures in China would put me 1 or 2 rooms above. Sofitel/Novotel/Mercures in Australia and Japan would put me in a room above. Brazil and New Zealand also. In Thailand I got probably 3 or 4 levels above.

Yes, I hope they keep upgrading me. Would be nice if it will be possible to use these tickets as an “extra” upgrade. Let’s say i’m on vacations and already got an upgrade at check in. I could use those to get an even better room. Would be even better if could be possible to use after seeing the room first hahah, because in some places in Asia the first upgrade are always so good. And also would feel like a jerk asking for a better room after someone wrote my surname with cucumber skin over my bed ahahahahaha.

Dear nrouxel,

Thank you for sharing your questions about the Suite Night Upgrades.

In fact, Canada DH is right.

With the launch of ALL – Accor Live Limitless, the Suite Night Upgrade has been released and All our Platinum members have received 2 Suite Night Upgrades, coming with their current status.

Additional Suite Night Upgrades have been granted based on the number of Status points you have on your account. Our members can receive 1 additional Suite Night Upgrade for each level of 4000 Status points cumulated over 14 000 Status points. So, members having 18 000 Status points or more were granted 1 or more Suite Night Upgrades, based on their Status points activity.

They are linked to your 2019 activity and they are valid until the end of 2020.

For 2020, the obtaining of new Suite Night upgrades will also follow your Status activity.

As usual in the programme, your status will be assessed at the end of this calendar year, based on your activity of this year and you will (from what I can see) maintain your status for another year in 2020.

On the other hand, you will receive new Suites Night Upgrades in the course of the calendar year 2020 when:

• You will reach at first one of the two thresholds set to maintain your Platinum Status (14 000 Status points or 60 Status nights), you will receive 2 new Suite Night Upgrades valid until end of 2021,

• You earn an additional 4000 status points level (18 000, 22 000, etc….) up to a maximum of 54 000 status points corresponding to 12 Suite Night Upgrades. Each new level grants you an additional Suite Night Upgrade.

Don't hesitate to share any other question you may have,
With my best regards,
Amy

Dear edos,

Thanks for sharing your concern about your new Benefit, The Suite Night Upgrade.
Please allow me to bring you more information about this new benefit, which comes in addition to your existing benefits.

Rest assured that you will continue to enjoy the “Upgrade to a next room category” benefit, this benefit remaining subject to the hotel’s availability.

On the other hand, the Night Upgrade Suite allows you to guarantee an upgrade to a "Suite" for the price a “Room” while booking, provided that your booking is made in advance.
In this context, each hotel offering this benefit sets a correspondence between a type of room and a specific Suite type.
The type of Suite proposed depends on the room selected for the booking.
The Suite Night Upgrade can be booked by calling Accor Reservation Offices or the Hotels.
The conditions applying to the Suite Night Upgrade are detailed in the ALL Terms and Conditions of Membership available here.
Should you have any additional question, please let us know.

With my best regards,
Amy

2 SNU currently but being at 17,955 status points and just finished 1 stay plus 1 more stay being included for this calendar year will get me to around 20,000 i think.

Engineering Travel Dec 5, 2019 11:58 am

Just had two emails from ALL, first said 5 SNU's, second said 2 SNU's, check account online I have seven total.
Earned over 34K Status points in 2019.

I see in the T+C's, cannot be used with points bookings.

Next year I have six night points stay in the Sofitel Nusa Dua...prepaid on a non refundable points booking..

When I travel for leisure I use either IHG or ALL points (perk of work), so no use to me at all these SNU's as all of the Hotels I use on business are Mercure/Novotel/Ibis...They could learn a lot from IHG.
Certainly not expecting anything from this new Diamond Status.

Looks like its all #### to me....
