All I got here was a welcome drink voucher, and a 'room upgrade' to 'Club Level' - same type of room.
No welcome letter, no explaining what the Executive Club hours etc are, no welcome amenity.

Received a room upgrade to a Suite - however it was on the 25th floor and the accidentally put the windows on the ceiling - no joke!! (I wish I took a photo to show). Thankfully they moved be to a Suite on the 26th floor.
Drink voucher, and welcome amenity, as well as lounge access etc.
It's an older hotel (really needs a refurbishment) but I think I prefer it to the Swissotel Shanghai (although the Swiss is a more modern hotel). Especially given the location - and the exec lounge is much better.

Mercure Bratislava, Gold
Just spent 2 nights at the Mercure Bratislava. As a Gold Member I got a room upgrade from standard to a privilege room which also included access to the privilege lounge. A welcome drink for me and my partner, we had a beer and a glass of wine. As it was my birthday I got a birthday cake and a bottle of wine in the room when we arrived. Also a free of charge late check out at 2pm.
