Still true another two weeks later.

In their reply to my enquiry Accor is kind enough to "remind" me that the transfer can take up to six weeks -- and ask me to contact the airline if the Avios haven't arrived after that time.

When I transfer from le club to IP, should I put in the card number: IB5659xxxx or just the numbers 5659xxxx?

Well, did you do the transfer while Iberia was missing as a partner?

Yes and no: I didn't "do" the transfer, Accor did (or, as the case may turn out to be, didn't). As reported here, this was an automatic transfer to IB processed during the period when IB was missing from the list of airline partners.

Did anyone get miles actually credited to Iberia since the reintroduction of the transfer - regardless of whether it was initiated manually or automatically?

Welcome to FT, arix, and thanks for the additional (if disappointing) data point.

I performed a manual transfer on Jan 22nd and after 9 days I'm still waiting for the miles to be accounted on my IB Plus account. The last time I did transfer from LeClub to IB Plus it only took 3 days for miles to get to my account.

I guess no one has managed.

Lurker can you verify and report what the problem is?

Thanks.

Hi travelkid,

As you may already know, it can take up to six weeks for the transfer to be completed. However, since the Le Club Accorhotels and the Iberia Plus loyalty programmes have just signed a new deal regarding the conversion rate applied, transfers may take a bit longer than the regular six weeks.

In the meantime, please rest assured that the automatic transfers are now fully working.

Kind regards,

Nathan

Im sorry Nathanm, but in 2013, why is it so hard to transfer points and takes 6 weeks to the transfers be completed? It should be automatic as any other bank or credit transaction. Is the transaction delivered by Pigeon post?

Hi ironfire,

I can see why you think transfers can take so long to be completed but verifications must be done by both parties first before authorizing the transfer. And this bilateral communication takes an important amount of time as well as avoids mistakes to be made.

I apologize for the long waiting time you guys are facing for your points to be transferred.

All the best,

Nathan
