Conversion of sCO 737 to include E+?

There is probably a website or wiki or something that would tell me this but I don't know where it would be. How far along is the conversion of the longer range 737 (transcon) to include full E+?

I have been avoiding sCO planes completely but have a couple of flights to WAS coming up and they seem to mostly be on 737s now. I'd rather cram myself into a CRJ to DEN and connect to an Airbus than suffer the old CO Y for 5+ hours.

I avoid flying PMCO 737s as well for the same reason. The CRJ-700s are more spacious and the seats more comfortable in Economy Plus than the PMCO 737s. I hope they also replace the seats on PMCO 737s in coach which are old and extremely uncomfortable in addition to adding E+.

Since the majority of the sCO aircraft are far from "old" (almost all are much newer than the entire A319/320 fleet) then it is clear that their seats are not "old". I've never heard anyone cite a preference for a CR7 compared with a relatively new 737 - that's a first for me

It's worth pointing out that the 737s have some of the roomiest E+ in the whole fleet.

The interior design of the PMCO fleet doesn't inspire feelings of youth in most people.

I don't understand why, but I've heard this a few times.

True - the same could be said about all of the fleets operated by legacy US carriers - the only "modern" interiors to be found across all of UA, US, AA, DL, AS and WN are in the handful of aircraft with the new Boeing Sky Interior - of which UA has the most

21A & 21F on the 73G are exceptions to this, regardless of the E+ conversion.

Sky interiors can't increase seat width.

If possible I try for A3xx...

Wow talk about stumping for the home team - 20 out of 700 -- a great reason to fly UA

Oh brother I was talking about about Sky Interior Aircraft, not aircraft with E+. And I was only including sCO aircraft, since those are the ones with sky interior. Also any existing aircraft before sky interior was introduced, cannot be modified to get sky interior. There are 264 sCO aircraft with E +

2 B787-8 Dreamliners
22 B77-200s
10 B767-400s
13 B757-300s
41 B757-200s
45 B737-900/900ERs
88 B737-800s
32 B737-700s
11 B737-500s

No problem calling them old - they are of a cheap grade and are not wearing well the result in taking the cheap route- take note of how the armrest flails from side to side with the slightest touch, not to mention the horrible and short cushioning - lots of these seats are of garbage quality. I know you may get a thrill out of anything your hometeam does but these seats are pretty hard to defend. Dim, dreary, narrow, uncomfortable I absolutely prefer the Airbus
