It's worth pointing out that the 737s have some of the roomiest E+ in the whole fleet.
No problem calling them old - they are of a cheap grade and are not wearing well the result in taking the cheap route- take note of how the armrest flails from side to side with the slightest touch, not to mention the horrible and short cushioning - lots of these seats are of garbage quality. I know you may get a thrill out of anything your hometeam does but these seats are pretty hard to defend. Dim, dreary, narrow, uncomfortable I absolutely prefer the Airbus
