I tried calling the O'Hare number listed in this thread as well. At least their mailbox isn't full but they didn't call me back.

Any recommendations? It seems that everyone gets an email before they even get back to their car.
What did the interviewing officer tell you? I (and many others) were explicitly told we were approved and could use the entry kiosks effective immediately. The final approval letter and GE card are formalities.

Makes sense. Time issue possibly.

I have a friend who just got approved Tuesday. She applied the previous Sunday. It took her 9 days. So much quicker than the 21 days it took me in May/June.

If they were approved, it would be updated in the GOES system when they login. Theirs is not updated.

Approved or conditional approval pending an interview?

In May/June, people realized they were traveling overseas and wanted Global Entry. Once the DHS took their $100, they were then told to come in for an interview well after they got back from their vacation.

Now that we're approaching August, I'm guessing the number of people traveling overseas will diminish greatly since the new school year is nigh.

I would suggest maybe going back to the enrollment center and speaking to an officer.
Not to try to make you feel bad, but my officer approved me in the seat and I checked GOES while BS'ing with him and the membership letter was already active.
Once a member, you will not be able to see the scheduling calendar any longer.

I hope you get it sorted sooner than later.
I've only tried logging in from my home computer, but I login fresh each time. No updates.

The officer told me I was approved. He said I would receive my card in a few weeks.

The only thing that I can think of that may be delaying things is that I had to add a new address because I moved since I started the process. It took so long to get an appointment... But he added the address no problem and said it wouldn't be a problem.

I can't get anyone on the phone and no one will return my calls. Honestly don't know where to go from here. Going back to the interview center would be a big pain and a bit of a drive and there's a good chance they would refuse to see me or speak to me.

Howdy.

Applied 7/7
Conditional Approval: 7/21
Interview and Approval: 7/28 in PHL.

I wasn't told verbally that I was approved at the interview but that I'd be notified within the next couple days, but I noticed she wrote approved next to my name before she escorted me out. There was someone who showed up hours late to the interview in the waiting room with me and they still took him back.

My original interview was in October, but I checked the website for 6 days straight a few times in the morning and a few at night for openings. Finally on the day before the interview I found a slot for the next day. My interview was easy... I have two citations for disorderly that I mentioned when asked if I was arrested (in fact my original citation was for a misdemeanor and I think may have counted as an arrest but didn't change my approval). Awaiting the card now.
st).

Hi,

So I applied for GE on April 22th, Conditional Approval on May 25th, and Interview on July 20th. The officer verbally confirmed my approval and said I would receive an email with the approval in 48 hours but haven't gotten anything.

Is the processing time for the final approval variable?

Just finished my interview at ORD. Took about 10 minutes. The officer corrected the errors I made on the application (accidentally put the wrong start date for my current address and employment).

Had the approval email in my inbox before I reached the train to take me from T5 back to T2.

One thing I will say (and I don't know if it's mentioned on the documentation) is that if you have recently renewed your passport take both you new and old one with you, since they may want to look at the stamps going back a few years.

Maybe my experience was a total fluke, or maybe Houston just has fast processing, or maybe CBP has finally hired and trained all those extra employees, but I thought I'd share my positive DP.

Applied 7/27
Conditional Approval 8/1
Interview at Houston Central Library (way more convenient for me than IAH) 8/9, though IAH slots were available this weekend.
