Caught my plane's shadow inside a circular rainbow. Couldn't quite get the exact placement I wanted, but pretty cool effect.

Also got some shots of ORD during an unusual approach (for me) from DAY. Flew right over, then turned around and came back...instead of the usual approach from over the lake. I always forget how much larger it is when you include everything on the other side.

Yes it's downtown Seattle. We were circling over Queen Anne to turn back south and I was looking straight down and saw this cloud bank rolling over the city. Luckily I got a couple snaps off before the plane straightened out.

first 'first' experience in 1 minute

Hopefully sharing an instagram video is ok, otherwise feel free to move to the photography section/somewhere better suited.

my first 'first' experience with BA. concorde room was underwhelming, but loved the first service and most elements of the product.

Three photos from the western end of a flight from ATL to LAS. The one with fields arranged in circles is above the TX/NM boarder area and the other two are on approach to LAS.

Interesting pictures of the fields. Anyone know the reason behind these arrangements?

Watering. Huge watering arms on wheels rotate around a central point and the water pressure moves them in a circle.

Parts of Saudi-Arabia look similar - very weird, large green circles (often of alfalfa) in the middle of the sand desert.

I stumbled across this thread and thought I would add a recent picture of mine - crossing the Alps from MUC - FLR.

Old picture since you technically can't take it anymore, but I think you get the idea:
