Flying around ATL to make an approach from the East. It amazed me how small the terminal and concourses look compared the maintenance hangers.

Great shot! I'm always amazed at how ATL fits so much and seems to run more smoothly than, oh say LAX?
What's that area in the top right of the photo that's connected to the airport area? More runways?
Edit: Never mind, google comes through. Looks like runway 28?

That is the "new" runway that opened several years ago and the one you do not want to land on if you have a tight connection.
